This piece was written with the intent that the wind players memorize and enter the room as they perform the piece. It begins with percussion, which also signals when a group will enter or a change in the music will occur. Enter is slightly minimalistic in each part with groups of instruments playing repetitive melodies and ostinato. Featuring parts that are interesting, slightly challenging, and fun to play Enter and Be Heard will be an exciting opener to a concert!
